Craig List Details

One of the popular draws of Atlanta is its multiple sports teams. Atlanta is home to Major League Baseball’s Braves, the National Basketball Association’s Hawks, the National Football League’s Falcons, and the National Hockey League’s Thrashers. The city is also home to teams in several less prominent sports, including the recently popular Arena Football League, represented in Atlanta by the Georgia Force. For those wishing to attend a live event, a great place to look for tickets is Craigslist.

In case you are not familiar, Craig list is a network of site for communities throughout the United States and around the globe. Initially, it was founded as a resource for the San Francisco Bay Area in 1995. By 2006, there was a Craigslist site representing each of 450 cities worldwide. With a few exceptions, advertising on Craigslist is free, and postings can be placed in myriad sections, all organized into major categories.

Throwng Leinhart Into the Falcon’s Den is a Mistake!

Why should we be surprised that it’s ‘Week 4′ in the NFL and already there are quarterback issues throughout the league? The Arizona Cardinals are running out of excuses and in an attempt to right the ship they have decided to bench veteran Kurt Warner and replace him with hotshot USC QB Matt Leinart.

The 35-year-old quarterback was intercepted three times: Once, with the team at the Rams 1-yard line and another at the St. Louis 14. To cap it off, Warner fumbled a snap at the Rams 18 with 1:46 to play as Arizona was positioning itself for a winning field goal.

ESPN.com reported on Monday night that the Cardinals were expected to start Leinart against the Falcons in Atlanta on Sunday, citing team sources the Web site did not identify. Warner’s turnovers are what changed Green’s mind about starting his first-round draft pick, according to the report.

Now that the Cardinals have a spanking new stadium in Glendale, coach Denny Green

NFL betting odds have the 49ers 25-1 betting longshots in 2011 Super Bowl odds and 12-1 to win the NFC conference.

San Francisco will then get plenty of home cooking with 5 out of their next 6 games on the NFL schedule at home starting on October 10th against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Oakland Raiders visit from across the bay for a heated interconference match-up in

BetRepublic.com NFL Power Rankings

Any given Sunday was the case last week in the NFL, as the Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals all sent the mighty tumbling to the mat. And Washington probably should have beat the Saints, but the outcome of that game epitomizes the “day late, dollar short” story that will cap Jim Zorn’s short career once the season is over.

The Bengals strengthened their foothold in the top five of our rankings, but the next two weeks (at Minnesota, at San Diego) will show us Cincinnati’s real playoff potential.

Check BetRepublic.com for tons of free picks each week and our innovative sports betting TV show every day.

Week 14 NFL Power Rankings

1. New Orleans Saints –WR Robert Meachem averaging one TD per game in last five and the strip-score vs. Redskins was testament to mentality of Sean Payton’s team. There is no quit.

Monday Night in the Big Easy: Falcons take on the Saints in New Orleans

After a bad loss in Dallas, the Falcons travel to New Orleans to battle their NFC South higher-ups, who happen to be playing Super Bowl-caliber football. Can Atlanta spoil Reggie Bush’s 16-0 prediction in week 8 under the Monday Night lights in the Superdome?

Falcons on Offense

Golden boy Matt Ryan seemed to be picking up where he left off as a rookie until he hit an obstacle in the form of the Cowboys last week. Prior to the Falcons’ visit to Cowboy Stadium, Ryan had steered his team to 4 impressive wins by spreading the ball and playing smart football. Last week, the Cowboys picked Ryan off twice, forced 2 fumbles, and sacked him 4 times. This week, he’ll have to deal with the pressures of facing an amped-up Saints D in a chaotic Monday Night setting in the Superdome. The Saints will try to shut down Michael Turner early and force Ryan to pass, which will be tough given how good the Saints are at blitzing and
