Oakland Raiders a Controversial Team

It’s hard to see this team putting together a winning season with upper management undergoing polemic. The word on the street have bounded the Oakland Raiders coaching staff and have annoy in the hearts and minds of the Raider nation since the close of the regular season.

So, Rob Ryan has been fired? or Ryan has not been fired?. Lane Kiffin is miserable and going to walk away? Other than some news implicating that Rob Ryan has not been fired; the Raider organization has been quieter than the Pontiac Silverdome back in 70’s. That quietness has only feed the theory broaden. After all, reporters at the Senior Bowl got remarks from both Lane Kiffin and Rob Ryan that appear to amount to not much more than don’t ask!!

Where should we start? Let’s see, head coach Lane Kiffin tried to fire defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, who directed over the No. 26 scoring defense in the NFL last year, but owner Al Davis outlaw the move. Then, it began to seem

Atlanta Has Puppets, History and Chocolate Pecan Pie

During the Civil War, Atlanta did indeed burn, but in the years since she has rebuilt, restored and in fact reinvented herself. Down but not out, she rose like the phoenix from the ashes of a bitter conflict to become queen of the American south. Multi-columned antebellum mansions rub shoulders with high rise office buildings and the musings of business are conducted at a slower pace with the pleasing purrs of the local accent. Atlanta, Georgia is the home of southern hospitality.

Traveling to Atlanta, Georgia by air brings you into one of the busiest airport hubs in the nation. An Automated People Mover (APM) System has been in service since 1980, carrying over 200,000 passengers daily between the main terminal and the six airside concourses. The user friendly system displays passenger information in eight languages; English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic and Korean.

Known for its southern charm and progressive ideas, Atlanta is a metropolitan hot bed for industry, business and entertainment. The capital of Georgia, Atlanta boasts a metropolitan population over five million people, and has recently become and a place recognized as a focal point for international influence. NFL Tickets – Final Mock Draft: The Middle of the First Round

NFL Tickets – Final Mock Draft: The Middle of the First Round

Here is how I think picks 11-20 will play out in the 2010 NFL Draft:

Denver Broncos – Rolando McClain, Interior Linebacker, Alabama: They need a receiver, but the team just traded a wideout with character issues, so it’s difficult to envision them taking Dez Bryant.  The Denver defense was much-improved last season and I think they continue to build on that with McClain, who is the draft’s best tackler.

Miami Dolphins – Jason Pierre-Paul, Defensive End, South Florida: The Dolphins shored up their linebacking corps with the acquisition of Karlos Dansby this offseason, and they’ll look to improve their pass rush via the draft.  Pierre-Paul is unpolished, but could be a beast under the right coaching staff.  Miami has one of the best coaching staffs in the league and should be able to turn Pierre-Paul into a very good player.

San Francisco 49ers – Joe Haden, Cornerback, Florida: The Niners desperately need help at corner and Haden is the

Vick Latest NFL Star In Trouble With Law

We have heard it all before. High profile athletes accused of a heinous crime, convicted in the court of public opinion before receiving their due process.

We saw it with Kobe. We saw it with the Duke lacrosse players. We are seeing it everyday with the Barry Bonds homerun chase. Now we are seeing it with Atlanta Falcons star quarterback Michael Vick.

When Vick entered the league as the No. 1 draft pick of the Falcons out of Virginia Tech it seemed as if he could do no wrong. The excitement that he brought to the Georgia Dome initially crossed racial lines, as he brought all colors together while leading the Falcons to the NFC championship game in 2004.

However, when Vick began to struggle on the field he also began to struggle to regain the confidence of White Falcons fans. Many White fans lobbied for former Falcons backup Matt Schaub to replace Vick, while African Americans in the Atlanta area faithfully supported

Carolina Panthers Tickets – Ready to Pounce

The Carolina Panthers are one of the most underrated teams in the NFL this season, and the cats are quietly sneaking up on the playoffs, ready to pounce against their tough tail end of the regular season. After beating the Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions in Week 9 and 10 games that were expected to be blowouts but instead were close calls, the Panthers continue their winning streak on the road, hoping to come out on top of their next and last six regular season games that include matchups against the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, New York Giants and New Orleans Saints, respectively.

When it comes to the epitome of Carolina’s success this year under head coach John Fox, the only answer to the Panthers’ overwhelming wins lies within the team’s depth. Quarterback Jake Delhomme has been an invaluable asset to the Panthers after missing most of last season due to an arm injury and reconstructive surgery, and his

Get into the Hype with Georgia Bulldogs Tickets

Get into the Hype with Georgia Bulldogs Tickets

Georgia Bulldogs football tickets are as cherished as any sports-related items in the state. The Bulldogs truly are the state’s preferred team, as their tradition dates back longer than their in-state sports cohorts – the Falcons, Braves, Hawks and obviously the Thrashers. Athens isn’t far outside of Atlanta, and it seems that the whole state shows up for every Georgia game. Given all this support and fervor, you’d think Georgia would have a dominant football team.

However, here’s the deal – they don’t – they have a very, very good football team, but not a dominant football team. They’ve never had a run of supremacy that the likes of USC, Nebraska, Miami and Notre Dame have all had over time. They are always highly-ranked, and it seems that they’re always in contention for the SEC title, but they haven’t played for or been in serious contention with the voters for a national championship in some time. Below we’ll look at what separates Georgia from national

NFL Tickets – Week 5 Power Rankings

Here are the top 10 teams in the NFL as I see them going into Week 5 of the 2009 season, listed in order.

New York Giants: The Giants are 4-0 and looking strong on both sides of the ball. Their balanced attack on offense looks better each week and this team could be in for a Super Bowl run again, but Eli Manning hurt his heel late last week and he could be hobbled by it. If it continues to plague him throughout the season, the Giants could become vulnerable.

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts look better and better each week. Peyton Manning is the frontrunner for MVP and the defense is stepping its game up in a big way. I like what I’m seeing from this team in all facets. If there was one player I could buy NFL tickets to see play, it would be Manning.

New Orleans Saints: The Saints took down the Jets, exposing Mark Sanchez as the rookie he is. This defense is for real, but the team has also shown that their passing game can

The New Orleans Saints- Tickets to the Big Game

New Orleans Saints tickets are selling like hotcakes so far in 2006, and the entire country is glad to see this happening. No team has had a tougher year than the Saints, and no NFL city has dealt with more death, destruction and misfortune than New Orleans. As a result, the Saints have become the unofficial “America’s Team” as the team and the city attempt to regroup and rebound.

There are several positive things happening with this long-suffering fan base and franchise. Over the years, the Saints have had a few bright seasons, but for the most part they’ve been dreadful. They’ve won one playoff game in 40 years, and they were becoming a team that no one took seriously. However, they’re off to a hot start in 2006, and people are wondering if the “new” Saints are for real or if they’re about to crash back to Earth. We’ll look at a few factors below to see what will happen in New Orleans.

New Personnel

One factor that seems to be
